DTRIC Insurance goes live with latest addition to the DecisionMaker™ Suite.

Honolulu, HI - May 25, 2010 -

Decision Research Corporation (DRC), a rating and policy processing software solution provider to the property & casualty insurance industry, announced today its DecisionMaker™ Suite  now supports Commercial Auto and Truckers lines of business.  These latest lines offer full policy administration support for business autos, trucks, tractors, trailers, private passenger types, public autos, as well as, non-owned autos and hired autos.  In addition, DecisionMaker supports fully automated classification generation, VIN verification, and the ability to perform mass uploads of vehicle data from Microsoft Excel® spreadsheets.

Karen Yamamoto, Executive Vice President with DRC, noted “We are very pleased to continue adding to the commercial lines functionality of our flagship product.  Although the availability of Commercial Auto and Truckers is worthy of celebration, the work continues at DRC as we will soon be releasing support for Commercial Property and Inland Marine.”

DTRIC Insurance has recently implemented DecisionMaker Commercial Auto and Truckers in production, bringing the total number of commercial lines in production at DTRIC to four including Workers Compensation and General Liability which were rolled out in 2009.

“The implementation of DRC’s Commercial Auto and Truckers represents another milestone achieved in the execution of DTRIC’s strategic business plans”, said DTRIC’s Garret Yoshimi, VP and CIO.  “With each implementation of a new commercial line into our DecisionMaker suite, DTRIC benefits from operational efficiencies and cost savings resulting from our use of a single processing system for our commercial lines portfolio.  This is made possible through DRC's use of a robust, common base layer of functionality that extends to all lines of business.  This common foundation results in direct savings to the business (e.g., out-of-sequence processing for Commercial Auto works exactly like Workers Compensation,) significantly reducing the learning curve when implementing a new line of business, or when training new staff.”

DTRIC Insurance Company, Limited (DTRIC) specializes in commercial property and casualty including workers compensation insurance as well as personal automobile, homeowners, renters and umbrella insurance. DTRIC is committed to providing innovative, value-added insurance products and services throughout Hawaii. For more information about DTRIC Insurance, visit www.dtric.com
